Opportunities for Involvement

Thanks for your interest in serving, volunteering, or otherwise supporting the mission at Magdalena. We couldn't operate without you!

Missionary Openings
Missionaries at CVE serve in a variety of roles, from being a main or assistant caregiver to a school teacher. There are both short-term and long-term missionary opportunities. All current openings are posted and handled by HarvestCall. See current missionary opportunities at CVE.

Prayer
Prayer is the foundation of Casa Vida y Esperanza’s ministry. We are dependent on the Lord in all that we do. We invite you to join us in prayer by submitting the form below for regular prayer updates and following us on Instagram and Facebook to keep up with the current happenings at CVE.

Teams

Teams have been an integral part of our growth by providing resources, connection, and support for our ministry and staff. Several teams come down to CVE each year from a variety of churches within the Apostolic Christian Church of America denomination. If you are interested in leading or joining a team, we invite you to explore the information found here and contact our Operations Director  with any questions or inquiries.

Grandparent Program

Our Grandparent Program connects couples from the States with CVE in a unique way. Grandparents come down to CVE for varying time periods depending on their availability (from 2 weeks to 3 months) and provide support for the Caregivers and their houses. Grandparents will often make meals, babysit kids, teach skills they have learned, and engage in numerous other activities with the kids and their houses. If you are interested in joining the Grandparent Program, we invite you to explore the information on this website and contact the Grandparent Program Coordinator

Summer Volunteers

Each summer, volunteers come to serve at CVE for an average of 6 weeks in the months of July through August. Volunteers support the CVE staff in a variety of ways and play a crucial role in making the Summer Camp and activities possible. Volunteers may act as classroom assistants or cover areas otherwise fulfilled by CVE staff who are teaching a class in the camp. They also help plan and execute the Camp family events. Other areas of service for volunteers may include childcare, lawn care, campus maintenance, kitchen responsibilities, and other daily activities around CVE. Individuals who are interested in becoming a summer volunteer can contact cvevolunteerprogram@gmail.com and request for more information. Summer volunteers must be 18 years or older.
